“Every parent wants their daughters to be independent, and they believe that providing them with a high level of education is the best way to achieve this. This demonstrates their unconditional love for them; they don’t want their daughters to feel pressured or burdened with completing household chores. However, many girls face challenges with household chores or management after marriage. It’s not that they can’t do it; rather, their in-laws aren’t as cooperative as they should be. Their goal is for the daughter-in-law to excel in everything she does, often resulting in constant criticism. As a result, these girls are at risk of depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, stress, demotivation, and low confidence.

Importance of Understanding and Adaptation in New Family

Environments

Personally, I believe that every family has unique setups, traditions, cultures, and tastes, and no one is perfect. Therefore, these girls need time, space, and a sense of belonging and intimacy to adjust to their new environment.
