The International English Language Testing System (IELTS) is a standardized test used to assess the English language proficiency of non-native English speakers. There are two main types of IELTS exams:

In addition to these two main types, there are also some specialized versions and variations of the IELTS test, such as the IELTS Life Skills test, which is designed for those applying for UK visas and immigration, and the IELTS for UK Visas and Immigration (UKVI), which is accepted for certain UK visa applications. These specialized versions have specific formats and requirements tailored to their purposes.
